How to set up your website and digital marketing for your small business the right way

So you can attract more of your ideal customers and stop wasting time and money on things that don’t matter

What are you focussing on?

The problem is you either have a badly designed website that you’re not proud of and a digital marketing strategy that isn’t getting you the results you want.

Or you have nothing at all.

You don’t have time, or don’t want to work out how to design, build, update, and maintain it all yourself and hiring a staff member to do it is not in the budget.

This has taken up too much of your time and is costing you money.

You just want to get on with running your business.

Most people think they need a fancy website with custom features and a whole lot of information nobody will read.

Or be blogging and constantly on social media to compete with other businesses.

The truth is, you don’t always need to be doing all of this. In fact you may not even need a website!

Do it the right way

My mission is to help make your business look as good as possible and get everything set up the right way, so you appeal to your audience.

Make it easy for them to find you and to work with you, without wasting time on things you don’t need that aren’t going to help your business.

My name is Adrian Griffin and over the past 15 years I’ve designed and built hundreds of websites and set up digital marketing for businesses to help make their brand look the best it can online and attract more of their ideal customers.

In this day and age of constant distractions and overwhelming amounts of information the first impression a potential customer has is crucial in turning them from a lead into a paying customer.

Get clarity

Most small business websites are poorly designed and are either lacking the right content in the right places, or have too much information and bells and whistles in the wrong places, and lack clarity of what action a visitor should take.

By stripping back the options a website visitor has and focussing only on the things they want to hear, they are more likely to take an action such as completing a contact form or picking up the phone.

If your visitors are confused they won’t take action, which means they’ll hit the back button and go somewhere else.

Your potential customers don’t care about your story or how long you’ve been in business.

They just want to know if you can solve their problems.

If you can get clarity on communicating how you can help your audience on a deeper level, you will be way in front of other businesses who are too busy talking about themselves.

The most important thing

What I suggest is sitting down and getting really clear and honest about who your ideal customer is.

Figure out who you find most enjoyable and profitable to work with, and forget about everyone else (for now).

Plan everything as though you are talking directly to them.

Think about their journey from their point of view and how you can help them.

Think really clearly about the one most important thing you want them to do when they get to your website. Focus on making that happen by offering as much value as possible.

Make it really clear how you can help solve their problems and exactly what they need to do next.

Then you can start to think about how to get more people to your site and be confident you’re sending the right people to a website that is going to turn the right visitors into paying customers.

Keep track

Another crucial part so many people miss is keeping track of website visitors.

Before you launch your website, make sure you have all the necessary tracking tools such as Google Analytics installed and integrated so you can figure out who’s coming to your site, where they’re coming from, and what they’re looking at.

You can also install something called a Facebook pixel that will track visitors so you can potentially run highly targeted ads to them in future.

What other people say about us

I have used SwiftSites too many times to count now, and I keep going back because Adrian is extremely efficient, knowledgable, a quick response time, and just very easy to deal with all round. His work is slick, and he really knows what works in an up to date way. I have recommended him to many people, and will continue to do so!

Basil Cook – ABC Music

SwiftSites have been the best decision I’ve made for my business. Adrian has worked tirelessly to create a website that’s clean, smooth and achieves results.

Brad Weeks – Abunai Media Group

It’s been great working with Adrian and SwiftSites. The collaboration has worked really well for us, taking our ideas and vision for the site and making them actually work online. Since our redesign we have kept an ongoing relationship with Adrian and have always found him responsive and helpful anytime we have had a query or issue.

What to do next

You have a choice.

You can try and figure this all out yourself. Spend weeks or months researching and experimenting and hoping for the best.

You could employ someone in-house, but even a junior on minimum wage is going to cost many tens of thousands, not to mention the added hassle of having staff.

Or you can work with us to get it done.

Right now I’m looking for a few more of my perfect clients to become my next case studies.

If you meet the criteria, we’ll start out by working together in a SwiftSuccess session.

I work with three types of clients:

  • Small service based businesses who are who are ready to grow their business online
  • People who are 100% committed to taking action and investing in their future success
  • People who are open to new ideas in a rapidly changing world

If this feels like you, then let’s get on a call.

Here’s how it works

1.

During the SwiftSuccess session we’ll help you get clear about what a successful 12 months looks like.

2.

Then we’ll dig deep into your website and digital marketing strategy to see what’s working and what’s not.

We’ll be able to get a good idea of the best things to focus on, and what not to waste time on.

3.

Finally, we’ll map out an action plan to get you on your way to achieving your goals.

I promise you’ll leave this session feeling clear, confident and excited about the future.

Who is this for?

  • This is for small service based business owners who are already making an income
  • You are prepared to trust in our process, are open to new ideas, and are in a position to put in the time needed to work with us
  • You understand you need to have some skin in the game and have no problem making a serious investment in your business

I’ll be straight with you, working with me is not cheap, but most of my clients see positive results within the first few months and want to continue working with me past the initial 12 month commitment.

Many of them have been with me for several years.

Let me just clear up who this is not for:

  • People who are just starting out or are dabbling with a vague idea
  • Businesses selling physical products online
  • People who make excuses and complain
  • People who aren’t open to new ideas, aren’t prepared to put in the work, can’t make decisions, and don’t take any action

Are you ready?

If this feels like you’re a good fit, click the button below and complete the application form on the next page for a SwiftSuccess session.

If your application is successful you’ll find out immediately.

Schedule a time directly in my calendar and we’ll get to work on putting together a plan for you.

At the end of the SwiftSuccess session, if I think we’re a good fit, I’ll extend an invitation for you to work with me to get SwiftSites set up in your business.

If we’re not a good fit, that’s totally fine too. We’ll part ways as friends and you’ll still have a great plan to work on.

So go ahead and click the button and fill in your application. My calendar is filling up fast and this opportunity is limited because of the intense workload of doing these 1-on-1 sessions

I also don’t invite everyone to work with us. I want to make sure all of my clients get great results and make a great return on their investment.
